During your stay we can organise any of the following trips for you from the hotel.
Winter Bird Watching Tour
£49 per person per day - plus accommodation costs
Norfolk has a wealth of Birdlife. Dependent upon season these all year tours visit a selection of rare and scarce breeding birds such as Montague’s Harrier, Dartford Warbler, Golden Oriole, Bittern, Golden Pheasant, Gargany, Crane, Stone Curlew, Goshawk, Honey Buzzard and Firecrest.
Winter bird watching tours centre around our winter visitors and woodland birds and during migration periods we will seek to connect with local migrants moving through Norfolk.
Our price includes picking you up from the hotel at a prearranged time – your transportation for the day and packed lunch.
Hot and cold drinks and snacks will be supplied throughout the tour followed by delivery back to your accommodation after our tour.
You are welcome to have the free loan of our binoculars if you do not bring your own. The tour leader will have a telescope you may use.
The Norfolk Safari
£55 per person (children half price when accompanied by 2 adults) - plus accommodation costs
We can either search the countryside for a particular species or can cover a particular habitat you find interesting. We will also make suggestions if you would just like a memorable day out.
Wildlife may include birds, deer and other mammals as well as marine wildlife, insects and reptiles.
Our price includes picking you up from the hotel at around 9am – your transportation for the day full services of a guide and packed lunch. Hot and cold drinks and snacks will be supplied throughout the safari followed by delivery back to your hotel at around 5 to 6pm.
You are welcome to have the free loan of our binoculars and telescope if you do not bring your own.
Photographing Wildlife for Beginners
1 day course - £59 per person - plus accommodation costs
Want to make best use of that digital camera? We’ll show you how. Our one day courses based in North Norfolk commence at around 9am and cover techniques and best practice. Finishing around 5 to 6pm - All Courses are held outdoors to gain maximum practical experience.
Overview
This is a concentrated but relaxed course where individuals will be given ‘Hints and Tips’ on photographing Wildlife. Although you will be expected to bring your own Camera if you have one there will be an opportunity to use long lenses on DSLR Cameras while photographing the wildlife available to us.
